Flirt

In Flirt, Sterud/Kongsness take full ownership of the stage. They are active, flirtatious, and contact seeking, and thrive on attention and response from the audience. It’s about insisting on being the gaze, and not just the spectacle.

Flirt premiered as a triple bill together with Roses and Flannel Dream, at Teater Innlandet (Norway) as part of Move Dance Festival August 2021.

Flirt can be programmed as an independent piece (14 mins), or together with Roses and Flannel Dream as one longer performance (about 60 mins in total).

The performance can be adjusted to the conditions of the stage and arena, and is suitable for artistic, feminist and/or queer contexts.
